You can now extend your relaxation experience with Sakura Lounge and stay at our Daylesford Retreat, a cozy and romantic guest house in Victoria’s famous spa country, Daylesford. Our Guest House has been developed with one main theme – relaxation! We have taken an original period home (circa 1920’s) in the heart of Daylesford, retained all of its period charm, added some luxury as well as some Japanese inspiration, including a beautiful outdoor traditional Japanese Tea Garden.

Sakura Daylesford Retreat is positioned so if you turn right you are a short 5 minute stroll to all of the town’s restaurants and cafes, and if you turn left you are only 2 minutes away from a lovely bushwalk along Doctors Gully.

Relaxing or socialising on our decadent entertainer’s balcony you can enjoy a wonderful elevated view up to the Daylesford Convent and the story book scenery along Doctors Gully!

Entering the lounge and living area you will step into a period home with polished boards, Ned Kelly wood fireplace, and be wowed with a state of the art entertainment system including high definition projector, blu-ray and a Surround sound - perfect for cozy evenings of movies or soft music in front of the wood fire!

Moving to the back of the house, our Japanese influence becomes more prominent. Read a book, relax or contemplate with a beautiful view looking into our Japanese garden, whilst still in the warmth of the nearby gas fired log heater. This is also the area we conduct our treatments in front of the gas log fire looking through the period window into the Japanese garden.

The night would not be complete without some aromatherapy in our corner 2 person spa, or if that’s still not enough unwinding for you, by advance booking, bring some of Sakura’s signature Shiatsu services or Packages to the retreat, performed by Sakura Lounge’s own highly skilled staff.
